Memberships
Individual Members
All sports coaches and other individuals working in sports coaching are welcome to join Finnish Coaches Association, regardless of sport or level.
When you join the Finnish Coaches Association as an individual member, you may also join a coaches' community that cooperates with the Finnish Coaches Association. By belonging to a coaches' community, you are eligible for the Coaching Community Individual Member membership category. The coaching communities themselves define their own membership fee, which is added to the Finnish Coaches Associations' membership fee. Separate membership categories are also available for students and seniors.

Individual Member €65
Any person involved in sports coaching can become an Individual member of the association.
Coaching Community Individual Member €45 + coaching community fee
A person involved in sports coaching who belongs to a coaching community with a valid cooperation agreement with the Finnish Coaches Association. Members must have fulfilled their membership obligations to the relevant coaching community. Each coaching community determines its own membership fee. Some communities invoice their fee independently, while others invoice it together with the Finnish Coaches Association membership fee.
Student member €35 + possible coaching community fee
A person working in sports coaching who is participating in coach education organized by a sport federation or another sports organization, studying in a degree-oriented vocational or higher education programme in the field of sport or physical education, or who is a full-time student in another field. Student membership applies only to the year of joining, after which the membership continues in another applicable membership category.
Senior Member €35 + possible coaching community fee
Every person involved in sports coaching who is 70 years old or older during the membership year.
Membership is applied for via a membership application, with the exception of Honorary Chairmen and Honorary Members, who are invited to their respective membership category. Members are approved by the Board of the Finnish Coaches Association.
Members of the Finnish Coaches Association commit to complying with the association’s rules and the decisions made by its governing bodies, as well as to paying the annual membership fees. Membership fees are charged on a calendar-year basis and vary according to membership category. No membership fee is charged to Honorary Chairmen or Honorary Members.

Coach Magazine - 5 issues per year, delivered by mail or electronically
Coach Magazine is a specialized publication on sports coaching, published in Finnish five times a year for members. The magazine provides current and diverse content from the field of coaching across various sports and levels. Articles cover topics such as elite sports, coaching children and youth, developing coaching culture, and the everyday work and career stories of coaches.

e-Coach 12-15 numbers per year delivered via email
e-Coach is the Finnish Coaches Association’s newsletter, published regularly in Finnish approximately 12–15 times per year. The newsletter shares up-to-date information on coaching, training, events, and membership benefits. It also includes interesting expert articles and seminar reports.

Training opportunity and events for member prices
The Finnish Coaches Association regularly organizes continuing education courses for coaches and instructors on various topics. As a member, you receive a significant discount on these courses. The training supports continuous learning and the development of professional skills.

The possibility to apply for a training grant for international training opportunities
As a member, you have the opportunity to apply for training support for international education. To be eligible, you must have been a member for at least one year and have fulfilled your membership obligations. Application instructions and the form can be found in Jäsenhuone.

Contract templates for agreements between clubs and coaches
In Jäsenhuone, you will find a comprehensive resource package to support a coach’s professional work. It includes, among other things, a template for an employment agreement between a coach and a club, as well as guidelines for making contracts and handling remuneration.

Reduced prices at Sports Institutes during leisure time travels
As a member, you receive at least a 15% discount on accommodations for leisure trips at several sports institutes.

Taitoc Skill Training System (TSTS) is a comprehensive content resource for educating, instructing and coaching fundamental movement and motor skills.
TAITOC develops the competence of coaches. Through cooperation Members of Finnish Coaches Assosiation get a discount on TAITOC annual licenses and open trainings.
